YouTube Channel Player Widget - major bug!
Your YouTube channel widget plays non-channel videos therefore cannot be used due to providing inappropriate videos as if they were part of my channel. When you present the video player, you do not utilize the &rel=0 parameter to turn off "related YouTube" videos from showing up. You should at least provide the ability for us to turn off the "related" video feature within your widget. Great widget, but many businesses, all government agencies and schools can NEVER use it - mixes potentially any video in with your channel content. Note; the "related" videos are the ones that show up when you press the small button on the YouTube player at the bottom right side. This button will cause clickable images of other videos to show up in the player - many of which are VERY inappropriate.

Inappropriate?Hi Richard,
Thanks for the info, but I don't know which widget you're referring to. Whichever one it is, you'll want to let the developer know. If you'd like to post a link, I can send the developer an e-mail.
There are many YouTube video player widgets in the gallery. Feel free to find a different one if you have an issue with how the one that you've added works.

Inappropriate?Dave, it is the main WidgetBox widget for creating a widget for a YouTube channel. It is on the http://www.widgetbox.com/ front page at the top. You click the YouTube tab, put in your channel name (which it adds to the end of a typical YouTube feed URL, click "Go" and WidgetBox website creates it for you. You can then do some color, image, etc. configurations - but there is no configuration to keep the video player from playing "related" but inappropriate videos. I have made a screen print of the webpage.
I’m anxious

Inappropriate?Ahh, the a YouTube tab in the blidget. Gotcha. Sorry I misunderstood. I'll turn off related now. Thanks for the feedback. Give it a few minutes.

Inappropriate?Dave, I have never had someone respond to my request like this so fast! The widget now works great with no inappropriate "related" videos showing up. I work for the State of CA in educating State webmasters in using things like this. I will be highly recommending your widget capability to them, and especially, your responsiveness to our needs! Thanks so much for a job well done.
I’m excited

Inappropriate? Thanks so much Richard! Getting some positive feedback really makes my day.
Enjoy the blidget!
