Would like to post Widget to profile and it stay there!!

I did not realize, before making a purchase to pro that you can only place widgets on Facebook as a post to your wall (status update) .. which in turn will keep going away as more comments are made. .... sad, I am really disappointed. I am looking to place my widget on my profile page, like on the left hand side under my name ect.... so that it stays put. If anyone knows how to do this pleaseeee let me know.
