Widgetbox Network on my blog, but Widgetbox says it isn't...
The Travel network widgetbox is on my blog http://letsgochina.over-blog.com/, but the system cannot find it and thus my membership remains inactive !

I have a widgetbox account. I created a widget called the GamersMafia RSS widget and it has been installed 37 times now over the past two years.
A few days ago I saw the "Network Widget on widgetbox" so I decided to set it up to generate a little more traffic.
I have the same exact problem as "ontravel" did. Except my channel is the Video Games channel, not the travel channel and the widget is active on the page I want it at http://www.gamersmafia.us . My RSS feed is not showing up on it and widgetbox gives me a message:
"We were unable to verify the Network widget on your blog.
The blog does not contain the widget code. Please make sure the Network widget is installed on your blog and try again.
Your blog URL:
http://www.gamersmafia.us/gm/rss.php"
I activated the network widget from the join page and it still won't activate my membership.
The feed is coming from the existing widget called the GamersMafia RSS widget (which I mentioned above) which gets its feed from http://www.gamersmafia.us/gm/rss.php so it should be working correctly but my account remains inactive. Both widgets are on the same page at:
http://www.gamersmafia.us if you would like to see for yourself.
Can you please activate my membership for the widgetbox Network?

Inappropriate?If at some point someone could activate my account I would really appreciate it. I have the widget on my blog, but it refuses to recognize it. I have tried reinstalling the code several times.

Have you tried checking the two cases in this thread? Either that you installed the instance from a page other than join/status or that your blog URL is incorrect? -
I installed the instance from the same page where the validation is and my blog url is correct. I can click through the widget to my page here but I can't validate.

It looks like the issue is either that your site is refusing our server or we're timing out because your site is too slow to load. My initial tests put your site's response at over 15 seconds. -

OK, I won't REALLY make you guess any more than you already have. The issue is that you configured your blog URL in your blidget with your feed URL. So the URL that we're looking for the widget code is http://www.gamersmafia.us/gm/rss.php, which won't have the code...
So I went ahead and updated your blog URL to be correct. You're not active.

It looks like you tried to create multiple memberships. Since it looks for a specific installed widget, only one will work. You have an active membership already though:

I deleted the other members you made.
