Widget install script to take config parameters
Is it possible to pass configuration parameters in the Widget install javascript that we get after clicking GetWidget? We already got the script, but would be nice if we could programmatically pass our widget configuration parameters to the script so that we can manipulate the widget on the fly.

Inappropriate?Do you mean allowing the person who has installed the widget to modify it's config? If so, no, this is not possible.

Inappropriate?Kinda...the install script should accept parameters to the widget instance changes.
We have our widget and we plan to get it's install script and tweak it slightly for every user in our community based on their profile we have on our records. So the same install script, if it could take parameters, then our widget could render itself accordingly.
From your answer....I guess the config is "burnt" into the instance of the widget and no more can it be tweaked from script.
OK
I’m sad

Inappropriate? So although you can't edit the instance inline, what you can do is send preset config params for them when they get the widget.
Shoot an e-mail over to Ryan: partners(at)widgetbox.com. We have a new feature (2 days old) that may work for you, but it's a premium feature. I let him know that you'll be contacting him.
