Widget dynamic resizer not working is creating barriers for widget approval
The widget's flash dynamic resizer isn't working and, as luck would have it, I've submitted about 6 widgets for approval that were refused because of your system not working properly. If, on the widget editor, I disable "size dynamically" my widget loads properly but it has a few glitches because it needs to be resized dynamically.

Inappropriate?Hi Ceslo,
Have you implemented the required call to set Size Dynamically from your widget, or did you just enable the checkbox? Size Dynamically looks to be working correctly (I just verified this), so it makes me think that maybe you didn't fully implement it.
Let me know and we'll get to the bottom of it.

Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
in the documentation available here: http://docs.widgetbox.com/developers/... it is stated that the extra code is not needed for html+js widgets. I'm confused because while developing and testing the widgets they all worked flawlessly and somehow between Monday and today something appears to have changed because they don't work anymore. All I have done is enable the checkbox, can you point me to the documentation where a call to set size dynamically is demonstrated for an html+js widget?
I’m confused and frustrated

Inappropriate?Further more, from the widgetbox.com homepage I went to create an example widget, I've enabled the Size Dinamically checkbox and it doesn't work either.

Inappropriate?OK, so that looks to be working as well, so maybe we should take another approach. What Browser/OS are you using?
-
Inappropriate?Firefox/Linux/Flash 10 :-)

Inappropriate?Hey Celso,
It'll be a bit before I can find a Linux box to check this out. If you have another OS handy, feel free to see if it woks there. I have verified the entire matrix of supported browsers, OS's, and Flash versions, so there are only a few variables left:
1. Linux (doubtful)
2. Settings or Firefox Add-ons that block either Flash or Javascript
Our core platforms supported are Windows and Mac OS along with IE, Firefox, and Safari. It'll work in any of those, but anything outside of that spectrum may take some experimenting on your end.
I'll let you know once I get a Linux box up...
