Why does my widget work fine everywhere but in preview mode
I have a widget that simply embeds a Google Gadget. It worked great for many months. Now, when you preview the widget, you get an error message from Google: Request-URI Too Large
The widget seems to work fine when embedded in a regular page.

Any suggestions?
BTW: I have to embed the Gadget because the Widgetbox proxy no longer allows retrieval of plain text responses from the Yahoo stock quote service.

The query string may be a bit longer in preview mode. There's not much that can be done about this, as it's powering your widget. This would be something that Google would have to change on their end if they can't handle the URI length.
