Why do my school's widgets have to have adverts? (and if they do, why can't they be appropriate?)
If widgetbox insists on putting adverts on all these widgets, could they at least censor them! I make widgets for our school blogs & sites - so any advertising is bad enough, let alone when adverts for 'certain enhancement pills' come up! Our budgets doesn't cover the catastrophic £20 to remove them - surely widgetbox can make exceptions for innocent school sites!

Inappropriate?Hi Euan,
The widgets don't have to have ads. Only the free account is powered by advertising. I'm sorry to hear that you can't spare the $4/mo. to remove them.
The ads are targeted by google based on the page that they're installed on. If you have an inappropriate ad, give it a day or two for google to collect the info on your site and they'll be more targeted.
Sorry, but everyone seems like a good exception to themselves. We unfortunately don't have the extra $4/mo. either :p
Cheers!
