Why do I have to create a Blidget to join the Widgetbox Network?
When trying to join a channel in the Widgetbox Network, why do you ask that I make or select an existing Blidget?

Inappropriate?A Blidget is a widget that displays your blog. To join the Widgetbox Network, we require members to create a Blidget and put it on their blog in order to verify ownership of your blog.

Inappropriate?It's a simple matter of 'networking'.
You make a 'widget for your site' and then you place a 'network widget' on that site. Just like the old style reciprocal 'add a link' - except only much better.
These 'network widgets' 'add value'.
