Was it a stupid question? Cheating the algorithms
A couple of weeks back I asked a question about foreign language blogs flooding the network, plus the 'get-around' of posting multiple single line entries in a single day, or blog posts with cut and paste content from other media sources, to cheat the algorithms in order to climb the network rankings unfairly.
As yet no reply from the "14 Widgetbox employees ready to listen and respond" !!
To back up the machines, how about some good old simple moderators to wield the axe now and again!
Any thoughts?

Inappropriate?Frog,
Not a stupid question, but there's also not an acceptable answer yet. Kicking people out of the network for not speaking english is NOT a solution. Additionally, cramming everyone that speaks any language other than English into one 'concentration camp' channel in the network, also not acceptable.
We're working overall to improve the SPAM issue. In the meantime, you're going to need to be patient. We're making improvements every day and releasing them often.
We are actively moderating and you're more than welcome to contact us on support.widgetbox.com or here if you have a specific member to notify us about. Unfortunately, many complaints are VERY subjective (like user A says user B is posting too often, or their articles aren't very good). These problems are being worked on as well.
So, in summary, we're working on it!
