Stop autoplay "please"
I have added the music juke box to my website. However, there is a major problem with it, which is both infuriating and annoying - Each time my webpage loads, this player "auto plays", and there is no "shut up" option available. This defeats the purpose of having this widget since it cripples my site with this excruciatingly annoying autoplay function. I've had endless complaints about it, and now I'll have to remove it. It also has that same equally annoying song over and over again. Please help as this is driving me nuts.

Unfortunately, this is something that the Widget Developer has control over, not us. You can try leaving a comment on the widget's page or clicking the developer's name on that page to see if they have any support info listed.

Actually, it is on the "Widgets" page, but like most forums, this is just another cop-out and fob off for so-called support. -
Everything on our site is user-generated content. We display who the developer is on each page. The developer made this widget, holds the source code, and is the only one that can resolve this specific issue.
Our service is a widget gallery, runtime, etc. This is all working properly, right? Since the widget is working and 'autoplaying', I'd say yes. -
Also, if you want info on how to contact the developer, post a link to the widget.

I'm sure like a lot of people, I'm wondering what your purpose is, since you cannot offer anything? Who or what are you? You certainly DO NOT provide any form remotely of support. "Forums and FAQ are notoriously known for cop-outs and Fob offs", so what on earth is the nature of your responsibility? So far, you've given useless advice on something I'd obviously tried anyway. Endless people will keep asking the same question throughout the forum, and nobody ever getting an answer. So, please stop being the default robot, as you are NOT helping anyone at all.

Your options include:
1. Find a different widget that does support this option (there are hundreds in the gallery)
2. Contact the developer to add this feature to their widget.
2a. If you want some help contacting the developer, just post a link to the widget you're using and I can find some contact info for you if they have posted it.
Just to help you understand why I can't (not won't, can't) fix everything, think of it like youtube. If you write in complaining that a video's in spanish, they cannot make that video i english for you. That's the way user-submitted content works: it's up to the uploader to do it right. Trust me, if I could solve your problem myself and not have to listen to the above, it'd make my job much easier.

I've developed a few of the "juke box" style widgets. Perhaps it's one of mine that you're using? If you could send me the URL of the page that has the offending audio, I can take a look or provide some options for migration.

Inappropriate?It seems like you're using that because you just want to "provide music". Do you have a specific song that you'd like to allow your users to hear? Perhaps a playlist?
