Pro widget with ads? Please make it go away!
I'm a Pro user, yet I have an ad on one of my widgets. How do I get rid of it?

Inappropriate?Hey David,
Can you post a link to where this widget is installed to so that I can take a look?
Thanks!
-
Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
My site is www.pfcbusiness.com.au
It's on the home page with a flickr ad above the main body
Cheers
David -
Thanks David. Can you take a look again and see if you're still seeing Ads? I published changes on your subscription and it looks like the ads are gone. -
David,
Sorry, but are you referring to the header image with the flickr logo? If so, this isn't the ad, but rather the header image that the developer selected. It looks like they originally used a flickr image that has since been deleted. -
Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
Yes, that's what I mean. I assumed it was an ad. Should I contact the developer?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
David -
Yeah, that may be the best way to resolve this, since the header image is theirs to configure. They may just be unaware that their flickr image was used in the widget. At the very least, they could turn off the header image until they have a chance to replace it. -
Inappropriate?Thanks Dave,
I'll contact him.
Great support, much appreciated!
Cheers
David
I’m thankful!

Inappropriate?Help. Same issue. The ad appears on my blog http://puckreport.blogspot.com. It's the NHL Standings widget on the right hand side. I am doing a pro trial to get rid of the 'Get Widget' banner and ads and am still being hit with the ads. Please fix.
Many thanks,
MG -
Hi there,
This looks to be an ad that the developer has not made Ad-Compliant. We'll delist this widget from our gallery and contact the developer, but they have to fix the issue. -
Looks like you may have removed this widget. I don't see it there anymore, but I saw the ad last night. If you post a link to where I can find the widget, I can do the above. -
Inappropriate?Haven't removed the widget. And please don't delist the widget. I'd rather have it with the annoying 'Get Widget' logo than to not have the widget at all.
-
Inappropriate?Hey MG,
The Get Widget button is not an ad. It's the method of the widget spreading. If you want to disable/hide this button, just go to MY WIDGETBOX, INSTALLED WIDGETS, click the widget name, and uncheck the 'Include Get Widget' option. Then click PUBLISH CHANGES.

Inappropriate?I have a Kitty Clock widget that is displaying a big, fat Google ad in *and* the Get Widget message, even though I have a Pro account and *unchecked* the Get Widget message option.
The site is http://www.writeanythingwell.com
I have deleted and reinstalled this widget repeatedly, to no avail. I want it fixed!
I’m really annoyed!

Inappropriate?Hey there Write Anything Well,
I don't see any ads nor the Get Widget button on your widget. If you're still seeing this issue, please post a screenshot.
