pro account question & idea
i have developt few dozens popular widgets
if i purchase pro account...
- can i choose which widget i want to remove the 'get widget' button? i want to preserve the 'get widget' button for some widgets.
- can i choose who (only certain domain name) can remove the 'get widget' button?
now, an idea:
rather than selling pro account to developer,
i think it's better if widgetbox let us - the developer - resell the pro account to our users and get an income share from this.

Let's start with answering your questions
- Yes, you can choose which widgets do or do not show the Get Widget button. Additionally, in the future, we're hoping to add more customization options to both the function and appearance of this button. No ETA, but it's coming.
- Right now, there is not a way to determine who can or cannot remove the button. Only Pro users can remove the button, and if you remove it as a developer, they cannot turn it back on. It's definitely an interesting idea, though.
As for your idea, you're spot on. We do have an affiliate program that we're getting ready for primetime, Hopefully only a few weeks away, we'll be able to work it to a point where you can do just this. You should check out the blog post too:

Inappropriate?one more thing i think quite important.
because the 'get widget' button is important for distribution of our widgets,
imho, it's best to let the button as default.
so, when user do not have pro account and the developer with pro account let user disable it,
the button should stays until the user explicitly choose to remove the button.
