Thanks forr your reply. The Flickr Widget has such an "Open Links In:" option but I do not have that option with the YouTube widget. What is it that you suggest me to do with the "original widget"?

Matthias - The original developer of the flickr widget made that a configurable option. As YouTube is most likely the original developer of this widget, there is nothing that can be done to change link behaviors.
