max height and width widgetbox.com will accept for a widget?
Hi, I submited some widgets and it's been declined as too big, What's the max height and width you will accept?

Inappropriate?Hi Chun,
Although there's not a set max and min, generally, anything larger than reasonable for something that will be embedded into a page is the limit. If you'd like to follow a number, aim for something smaller than 500px on either end, but as I mentioned, there's not a set limit.
I'm guessing that you're trying to submit a full web page to the gallery. Is that correct?

Inappropriate?no my widget is just that big, I changed it to 500x525 and resubmitted awhile ago. Will I be approved with this size?

I have multiple widgets like this but with different set of games.
The reason I have it this big is because this is the best size for a proper circular tweening. I don't really understand why the site would decline it for that reason anyways. I can see it as a preference but I mean widget user can reset the size if they want to after the submission.1 Comment

I've approved your widget. The reason that we don't allow everything into the gallery, is to attempt to allow widgets that can be useful to multiple users into the gallery, while widgets that are less useful, and possibly single-user widgets can continue to use the widget without a gallery listing.
There are tens of thousands of widgets that are made with the purpose of being used only by the developer. With nearly 100,000 widgets in the gallery and many more not listed, the goal is to assist users in finding widgets.

Thanks for the approval, I have about 36 more widgets like this. Can you approve them too? There are 9 sets of games and each is displayed with 4 different ways. These are all meant to be used for users. All these sets games are a subset of a larger set of generalized widgets where others can create their own sets of games in a easy to used fashion.

This looks like about 30 different display modes of the same widget. Please make the display mode a config param and limit to one widget in the gallery. Gallery SPAMing is not permitted (i.e. listing the same widget many times) -

Great! If you need info on how to make your widget(s) configurable, just let me know. I'm not sure if you're running different SWF files or the same SWF with config. If they're different SWF's, it's a little tricker.
