Inappropriate?Hey there,
Is this message appearing within the widget? That looks like a Gmail error message. If you post a link to the widget, I can verify for you that it's an issue within the widget.

Inappropriate?Even with a "widgetbox module" It appears that your product does not work with joomla. Really would have been nice to know up front, to be truthful I am quite disgusted that it was not mentioned. I will cancel my subscription and respectfully request a refund for monies paid. I have spent way too long trying to get your service to work. It is too bad as I was hoping to use and upgrade as site grew.

I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Lee,
Sorry, but per the agreement that you accept during the flow, we do not have the ability to give refunds. You're welcome to cancel your subscription to prevent any future billing.
I'm not sure what mention of Joomla you're disgusted about. All posts here and in our docs state that Javascript or Flash Embed support are required to use Widgetbox widgets. I have no idea what Joomla supports.
Additionally, any 'Widgetbox Module' is not a Widgetbox product and has no affiliation with Widgetbox.

Inappropriate?I bought a product assuming it was going to perform. It did not and for such a mistake it is only right that you take my money. Serves me right, I made a mistake, I Must Pay, thankfully you are hindered by that whole "customer service" thing. Just a thought, did you know that a customer that has a positive interaction with a company will tell 1 or 2 people? Conversely, a negative interaction is shared 10+ times. I will do my part to maintain that ratio. As for Joomla it is one of the most popular website construction tools on the net. It seems to work will all the other products available. As a company you might want to take a quick look at such and address if it is appropriate.
Respectfully,
Lee
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?Hey Lee,
I appreciate that you've had a negative experience by purchasing something that didn't work as you expected, but that's one of the big reasons that we use a 'freemium' model. That means that we give away the majority of our services for free before asking you to pay for a subscription. This is partially to allow you to make sure that you can use Widgetbox for your specific case before purchasing.
Additionally, we make our refund policy as clear as (I believe) possible in the flow, displaying it in bold red text in the flow as well as prominently in the agreement that you have to check immediately before purchase. This is to avoid any possible confusion about our purchase policy. We're working to add support for refunds and trials in the future, but at this point, I don't have the ability to do either.
Lastly, what Joomla supports or not is completely outside of our control. As all of our documentation, FAQ's, and forum posts state, we support Flash Embed (for Flash widgets) or Javascript installs (for all). If Joomla decides that they don't want to support Javascript, that's an issue that you'd need to take up with them.
As with most users, everyone thinks that the sites that they use are the most popular and that we should support them. Rather than attempting to please each specific case, we use a very common standard across the web (JS) and an alternative for people concerned with JS (Flash) such as Myspace. If you use a site that doesn't allow either, there's nothing that we can do to get around their policies. Again, Joomla's lack of support for two primary methods of content distribution is an issue that you could discuss with them. I'm sure that they'd appreciate the feedback.
All the best,
Dave
