how do I make my widget pro?

Hi have created an html/js widget. I am toying around really to learn but part of it was to learn how to create a facebook app... I am pro but I only see the bebo brick. Do I need to make my widget into an application first?

You can only make a Facebook App from a Blidget at this time.

Just want to make sure I am correct in my thinking:
Pro accounts allow users to use what I am calling "starters" to create some very cool stuff.. i.e Slideshow This or That etc and then once I have customized them for my own purposes, others can use my custom made widget.. in the case of a countdown, they will be able to put in a date of their own...
Just want to make sure...
