Does widgetbox support updating the preview image in facebook?
I have updated my image icon for the inkubook widget a day or two ago hoping to see the change reflected in new widget instances previews shared to facebook. However, facebook is still showing the old widget preview image when I post a widget to a profile page. I have tested the same thing with clearspring and clearspring's facebook preview image works, refreshing as you would expect it to.

Inappropriate?I've tried it myself and I actually see the updated image for the inkubook widget in Facebook. the image does get cached by Facebook as they proxy all images used within their site. It may take some time for it to get updated after you change it in Widgetbox. the other thing to be aware of is that your browser's may have cached the image (clearing the cache and reloading may help).

Inappropriate?I changed it over 24 hours ago and still see the same pixelated image of a book partially opened. The image that should be showing is the book all the way opened which is the file in this link: http://img.widgetbox.com/thumbs/aa5be.... I set the thumbnail image to this. Is thumbnail image what facebook uses? Do you see a difference between the image in this link I gave you and the image in the facebook preview?

Yes, I see the pixelated open book.
Yeah, we push the thumbnail over to Facebook for that image. Can you paste the link of the image as displayed on Facebook as well? We can verify that it's pointing at the correct URL, since the URL will be in the query string of the request.

One more question that I have not understood about your product offerings on the site. I see "blidget pro" which appears to be widgets for blogging and rss that is a monthly subscription to get more features. Is there a "widget pro" for a widget like mine or is a blidget the same thing?

Great question on the Blidget Pro. There isn't currently an offering for 'Widget Pro' or anything similar, although there is a product in the works to give you similar functionality. Keep an eye out for new features over the next couple of months and you should find what you need.

If I just take the 0 out from the end, the new image shows up.

Can you guys randomize a number at the end of the image url everytime the widget image is changed, so the new one gets picked up FB....i heard you can tak fbrefresh=randomcode at the end of the url and FB will force a refresh.

We don't need to randomize the issue, as we use the API to call a refresh cache with Facebook. If that break sometimes, there's not much that we can do. Adding a cache buster to the image would require you to re-auth every time you want to clear the image, as we cannot update profile FBML with your auth.
Sounds like FB is just having some caching issues right now.
