didn't realize how lucky we got
Hi. I created a widget yesterday and didn't realize how lucky I got with a quick approval. I made some small cosmetic changes (before knowing better) and am concerned it might take a few days to get okayed again. We're a nonprofit building a widget for the election - ethepeoplevoterguide. Any help in approving the widget again will be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Julia,
Sorry, but I had assumed that you were working with a blidget! My apologies.
A few things:
1. The extra config params that you guys had added were unused, but these were what made your GET WIDGET redirect back to Widgetbox. I've removed these config params.
2. Please disregard above about auto-approval for first-time submissions, as this only applies to blidgets.
While I was in there, I approved your widget. Enjoy!

Inappropriate?Hi there,
The approval process for initial blidget creation is significantly different than normal gallery approval, and happens immediately.
If you made cosmetic changes, you won't need to have the widget re-approved. Only if you delisted and attempted to resubmit the widget to the gallery would it need to go through the approval process, which can take up to 3-5 days, or maybe it'll happen immediately. Widgets are approved in a first come, first served fashion to ensure fairness.
You can still use your widget in the meantime.

Dave - thanks. You're right, I can still use the widget - but right now others can't copy the widget for their own use. Do I assume they won't be able to until the widget is approved again? Thanks a bunch, Julia -
Hey Julia,
The only thing that you lose is the details page for your widget (http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/whate...). They can still hit the GET WIDGET button under your widget to get it, so you should be good to go!
If you're trying to drive traffic to that URL above for a campaign or something, just post up that link and I'll take a look, OK? -
Inappropriate? Thanks again, Dave. I think there may be something else going on - when I click on the "get widget" link it forwards me to the widget's URL with a "this widget is not available" notice. It was working beautifully yesterday - so I wonder if I could have messed something up. If you're curious to see it in action you can see where I've tested the widget here: http://citizenjoe.org/node/613.
Thanks once more for helping me figure out what I did wrong.
