Content of my blidget not displaying in IE
My widgetbox installed on the homepage of http://calservenetwork.org periodically does not display content in Internet Explorer. Seems to work fine in firefox.
Also, the IE version will occasionally only display a few of the entries while other browsers display the full batch.
Other widgetboxes that I have installed on the site (http://calservenetwork.org/resources....) seem to work fine in IE.
Please help!

Inappropriate?Hey Nate,
It looks like the widget on your homepage is an OblinQ widget, not the blidget. Is there a blidget somewhere that you're referring to? If not, I'd suggest making a real blidget rather than using the OblinQ widget as I can't troubleshot their proxy.

Inappropriate?Dave, You're right, the trouble is with the OblinQ widget (that I use like a blidget because I like the light to dark color fade and the way that it displays summaries- )
Are OblinQ and Widgetbox different? I came in to widgetbox originally through the OblinQ widget creator tools...
I started to construct a blidget to replace the OblinQ widget, but was not able to get summaries to display consistently. Is there any progress on users ability to control how long summaries are in blidget?
See here: http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/calse...
The 1st 12 entries display no summary... the next batch display summaries inconsistently- it looks like blidget handles line breaks and returns differently than the blog... is there a way to control this? Any idea why the 1st 12 don't display summaries?
Thanks also for your lightning quick reply to my original question. Impressive! -
Inappropriate?Hey Nate,
OblinQ is a Widgetbox developer, similar to all of the other developers that submit widgets to our gallery. The blidget, on the other hand, is a product that we offer directly. Despite looking similar, the Blidget is a fair bit more advanced.
We haven't gotten into changing summary lengths, but by the look of things, your feed has a lot of white space etc. in it. Either way, if OblinQ works better for you, then use it! But you'll have to contact them about any issue with their widget.
One thing I would point out as an aside is that your feed is MASSIVE. I tried to open it to give you some pointers to make it more compliant, but it crashing my computer a couple times, so I gave up. Lowering the size of this feed will make it look (in a widget, or people's feeders, or in the browser) WAY faster.
