Confluence 2.10 Widget Embedding
I'm attempting to embed some Widgets into my Confluence 2.10. I'm using this code {widget:url=http://widgetbox.com/confluence/c72f61d9-712e-4168-8bc7-c2bd6055679b} and I get the broken widget (gear) image in Confluence. I have tried several different widgets with the same result. Thanks for any tips!

Inappropriate?Hey Jamie,
It looks like the site that hosts this widget's SWF file is down (or gone), so this widget won't work.
On a side note, though, if you're seeing the 'No Widget Found' gears icon, can you let Confluence support know? The subscription looks valid on our end, so I'd like to make sure that there's nothing broken on the Confluence side (just to be safe!)

Inappropriate? Before I send a ticket to Confluence, I want to try to embed a widget that is working properly - does this widget work ok? http://widgetbox.com/confluence/23ae2... I clicked one in the Most Popular category to give me a better odds of picking on that's working :). If it's not valid, could you give me an example of one I can use for testing? Thanks so much!

Inappropriate?Hey Jamie,
The test to ensure that the bug is not with Confluence would be getting a widget and installing it somewhere else. The confluence widgets are really just bad URL's with a GUID in the URL, and confluence parses out the GUID and builds the code snippet on their end.
But yes, the URL above is a valid URL for confluence. It should be a subscription to Mario.

Inappropriate?I worked with Confluence, and found a solution. There is a plugin called WidgetConnector within Confluence, and I had to upgrade it to the most recent version. Thanks again Dave for your time!
