Inappropriate?Hi there,
The most likely cause would be an outdated version of Flash player.
Try this: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
-
Inappropriate?Thank you for the link. I downloaded the "current" version of Flash Player, restarted my computer, cleared everything and it is still happening.

The images above show a normal screen and once I clicked on "Get Widget" or the embed icon it fades and does nothing after downloading the new flash player. -
Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem. I've tried updating the flash player to no avail. It happens in both Firefox and Chrome for me.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? In the past we've seen issues with servers in some locations caching a bad copy of this file. Please try the following urls:
http://www.widgetbox.com/flash/instal...
and
http://pub.widgetbox.com/flash/instal...
if the two pages look different, try viewing the 2nd one again and click shift+reload or ctrl+reload and try again. Please let us know if this helps. We are continuing to investigate. -
Inappropriate?Thank you giles, I tried your suggestion - I find that the first link works with an error message and the second is blank. I tried holding shift and ctrl but there isn't a reload button on the keyboard unless you mean refresh F5?
In any event those tricks didn't work.
I am able to obtain the flash pop-up from another computer in another city which I tried today and no problems occured. It works great.
My problem now is how am I suppose to use your services that I paid for at my own residence if this is going to be an ongoing problem?
I’m puzzled

Hi, I'm sure we can get to the bottom of this issue and fix it. Can you email support at widgetbox.com and put Attention Giles in the subject, I'd like to get some information from you to help figure this out. thanks. -
Inappropriate?Update. A corrupt copy of the file was found in a server in the east coast. This likely caused the issue. Please try again. One detail, your browser may have cached a copy of the corrupt file. To get a fresh copy visit
http://pub.widgetbox.com/flash/instal...
then follow the following instructions to refresh:
For IE use the following 3 key combination: Shift + Ctrl + F5
For Firefox use: Hold down Shift and click reload.
I also found this simple set of instructions on the web that may be helpful (note not a widgetbox page): http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html
Finally, if this doesn't fix the issue. Please let us know what city/state or country you are in.
I’m happy
