Accentuated characters in UTF-8 feeds not well supported
Most of our feeds on YouTube are well managed especially accentuated characters.
But for some reson through your blidgets these HTML special characters are being converted to real characters.
Feed is http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/us...
Blidget is http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/wizde...
Is it something you can fix or do I need to go through some proxy ?
Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hey Wiz,
Can you give me an example of some text that isn't showing up how you'd expect? I'd like to compare what's in the feed to what's in the blidget, but it's all matching up with the sections that I'm reviewing.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
In the following widget http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/wizde... here are the wrong characters and what should be displayed instead (this only occurs in the descriotion, not the title):
° should be °
é should be é
û should be ê
...
and so on with others
THe same feed displays properly on Netvibes -
Inappropriate?Gosh !!! All my HTML characters got mapped in my previous post :-) LOL
Let me try with extra spaces to avoid HTML charaters to be mapped:
& d e g ; should be °
& e a c u t e ; should be é
& u c i r c ; should be û -
Inappropriate?Wiz,
Sorry for the delay on this. I thought that I'd replied and totally dropped the ball, and I apologize.
When I took a look at your feed, it looks like it was actually double-escaping those characters. That'll make things not work.
