Static FBML and Widgets

Dave,

After much experimentation I've been able to create several unique pages\tabs on our fan page.

The latest one uses this code within a Static-FBML box;

Rather impressive and we can create as many uniquely named tabs as we want.

My experimenting with this stems from the fact that I cannot add multiple instances of the "Widget" or "More" pages to my page nor can I give them unique names. In our design you'll see how we're trying to get a unique look.

If I could get the actual .SWF file for Slideshow Pro they could be used in a similar fashion.

Dave,

Youo fixed the sizing issue with the "Widget" facebook app but the exact same problem exists with the "more" app as well.

Also, is there any way to chang the name of the tab once it's installed?

Trying to add widgets to company page

My personal profile on Facebook is "Scott Heimdal". Recently I created a company page through my profile called "RS Operations, Inc." I am the admin for this page and my email address is linked into both pages.

I want to load widgets onto my company page not my personal page but cannot figure out how to do it.

I've seen several examples of video playing on facebook walls. The slideshow widget which looks very much like a flash wrapper works fine on our page.

What is the difference in the implementation?

I've used a standard template for making youTube application that pulls 5 of my videos off of YouTube and populates the widget. It installs fine on Facebook. But when you click on one of the links it opens a new window for playing the video.

Why? Is there a way to have the videos play in the same window? Maybe using JW Player>?

We just want our pages as streamlined as possible.

Widget opening in new facebook page instead of "self".

We built a custom widget using the javascript option and it works great in the developer module. It also uploads to facebook just fine. But the widget opens a new window in facebook and runs fine in that window.

We want it to embed in the main page and function on that page instead of opening another window.

Whats the trick? Does it have to be flash enabled? I hope not!
