Yes, the problem is with the Flash wrapper. It works as expected if I don't use the Flash wrapper. I did read that page, but I didn't see anything that looked like it applied to me. I'm not using Stage.scaleMode in my code. And my widget settings look the way they should be.

Anything more specific you mean about "the use of STAGE"?

Input/dynamic text field and ScrollPane not working with Flash widget.
I can't access the text field to input information using the mouse (but I can get to it with tab). In the second frame (when clicking the What is eAG? button), the ScrollPane doesn't work when grabbing the scroll bar.

Does this have something to do with using components in Flash?
