How to pass the parameters to the [get widget] tab without using viral installer?I am just curious is that possible to pass the parameters to the [get widget] tab?
Say, I have a text field inside flash widget, I am going to allow user to type something "abc", and then click [get widget] tab on the bottom. The parameter will be appended to the URL http://........&key=abc.
I know the viral installer, but it requires to create a form with all required input fields. What I want to do is to include the configuration page inside Flash, so user could update/change the field through the Flash directly.
We have a PRO account.
Thank you

Hi Matt,
Thanks for responding to my thread.
I had done some testing already and you are able to view it at http://yarra.ath.cx/zmzm/dev/widgetbo...
the page with embedded widget
http://yarra.ath.cx/zmzm/dev/widgetbo...
I noticed that I was not able to see the button of [get widget], any suggestion?
# I have clicked "Include "Get Widget" button when installed" in [edit widget] page.
Thank you for your help

Pro Account / How could I change my widget seetings through my Flash widget?Hi there,
We are building our first Flash widget, and have a simple question here...
Any way we can have it so the user can change/update the due date on the flash widget itself? That’ll make it a lot easier for us to embed this thing on our site for download as opposed to always sending everyone to Widgetbox.
For instance: we have this widget listed on our site ( http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/pregn... ), we'd like to allow user to click the settings to update the fields, and click save. Once they have done with it, they could click [get widget] to get the default popup with embed code window on the same page. So they are able to copy the JS file and paste into their blog.
is this possible?
Thank you
John

The Flash Widget couldn't be successfully created and saved.I was not able to create my Flash widget, this is how I did it...
1. http://www.widgetbox.com/make/
2. Click flash.
3. Paste the flash url. For instance: http://www.testtest.com/myflash.swf
4. Widget name: test
5. click continue
6. check "agreement"
7. click save widget.
I have tried to clean the browser cache but the widget still couldn't be saved. Any suggestions on this?
Thank you
