Widgets not showing in IE 8

My widgets don't diaplay in IE 8 , but are fine in firefox 3.5.
They do not show up at all - there is no error message.
Please advise.

Thank you for the answer. It did eventually start showing the image next to each post; it just took several hours before it did.

How can I get the "green" Network widget to show my image next to a post? I added the image to my widget ( biodieselstock.com) after joining the green network. Do I need to go back andun-join and re-join to get the image to show? Or is there just a time lag? Thanks. Great product.
